• Usage: used for the critical dimension inspection of insulators (especially porcelain/glass insulators),
• Application scenarios in insulator production:
• Adhesive bonding process: Inspection of the mating dimensions between the steel foot/steel cap and the porcelain piece.
• Final inspection: Verify the diameters and coaxiality of key parts of the insulator (such as the head and the foot), ensuring they meet the assembly requirements for power transmission lines.
• Workpiece positioning: Some gauge blocks with C-shaped grooves can also serve as positioning fixtures. They can be used to fix the workpiece during gluing or processing to ensure coaxiality.
